ABSTRACT Environmental pollution and global warming are of great concern for life existence. Hazards to health and change in climate are among these effects that are caused by the global warming and pollution. Many gases cause these phenomena such as carbon dioxide that comes from burning processes and manufacturing processes as well as fermentation processes. Any method of utilizing such gas will be helpful, especially if this method converts it into useful products. This paper will deal with reforming methods to utilize carbon dioxide and convert it into synthesis gas that is considered as feed for chemical and petrochemical industries.
